We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join a supportive healthcare team in Carleton Place, Ontario. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality resident-centered care while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting residents' health, safety, and well-being while ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Provide nursing care and clinical support to residents in accordance with professional nursing standards and organizational policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor residents' health status and report any changes in condition
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure coordinated care
Support and supervise Personal Support Workers and other care staff as required
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control practices
Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing interventions
Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Previous experience in long-term care, retirement, or community healthcare considered an asset
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
