Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Domestic Cleaner who not only delivers exceptional cleaning results but also supervises and supports a team of cleaners. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards while coordinating and guiding other staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed residential cleaning to a high standard
- Supervise, train, and support a team of domestic cleaners
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Inspect completed work and maintain strict quality control
- Ensure all team members follow cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment
- Communicate with clients and ensure their expectations are met
- Step in to assist team members when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning teams is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and motivate others
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
