ISE is seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team!
The Materials Coordinator plays a hands‑on role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day‑to‑day activities of the warehouse while working closely with the supply chain team to support business needs.
As the primary point of contact for materials updates, inquiries, and requests, the Materials Coordinator is at the center of daily operations, helping ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance, this role applies supply management best practices to drive organized, reliable, and high‑performing warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of incoming materials to support smooth warehouse operations
- Prioritize and assign daily tasks to Material Handlers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate ERP inventory records through timely issuances, adjustments, and receipts
- Coordinate product preparation for shipping, including QC documentation and photos
- Coordinate product shipments with various logistics companies and international brokers
- Ensure daily and weekly facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks are completed
- Lead regular Health & Safety toolbox meetings to promote a safe and compliant work environment
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and keep the warehouse map up to date
- Manage and monitor the Purchasing and Receiving tracking system
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve facility issues as they arise
- Contribute ideas and seek feedback to continuously improve workflow efficiency and effectiveness
- Support the leadership team with data management and ad‑hoc projects as needed
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams, departments, and leadership
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary certificate or diploma in Business or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience in a warehouse environment
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience planning, coordinating, delegating tasks, managing team communication, and responding to escalations
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; experience with Sage is considered an asset
- Strong intermediate‑level computer and technology skills, including experience with Microsoft products, internet‑based tools, and reporting systems
- Dangerous Goods, Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS, and Forklift certifications, or the ability to successfully obtain these certifications
Physical Requirements
Ability to reliably commute to the workplace or relocate prior to the start date.
Ability to physically lift and move materials according to WorkSafe BC Guidelines and ISE Health and Safety policies and procedures
Security Requirements
All candidates must be eligible to apply for and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
