Job Description
BC Earth Exchange is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our soil management and recycling team. This role involves operating heavy equipment across various Fraser Valley project sites. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in excavation, civil construction, or aggregate/soil operations
- Strong understanding of equipment safety and maintenance
- Dependable, punctual, and physically able to work outdoors
- Ability to use a laser level
- Following work from plans an asset
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years excavator operating experience
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Commitment to safe work practices and daily equipment inspections
- Willingness to obtain or hold Level 1 First Aid
Responsibilities
- Stockpiling and screening soils
- Loading trucks and operating excavators
- Sorting and stacking concrete, asphalt, and rock
- Operating hydraulic breaker as needed
- Ditching and ESC maintenance
- Daily machine inspections and basic maintenance

Experience Needed
