Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are served promptly to our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the guidance of the Head Chef
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper cleaning procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Understanding of food safety principles and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
