Igloo Transport is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Halifax team.
Responsibilities
- Local deliveries and pickups within Halifax and surrounding areas
- Operate company straight trucks and refrigerated trucks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks and liftgates
- Maintain delivery documentation
- Follow company safety policies and customer service standards
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence (or equivalent)
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Good communication skills in English
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Reefer or food distribution experience is an asset
