Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our vibrant dental practice. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, appointment requests, and patient communications efficiently
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately at the front desk
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMRs) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, scanning, and correspondence
- Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Requirements
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office environment preferred
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic essential
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent communication skills for front desk interactions and multi-line phone systems
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Office experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
