Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Supervisor to assist with the front desk operations at our Hotel. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional guest services and smooth daily operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele and enhance guest experience. The Front Desk Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment and supporting the front desk team. This position reports to the Rooms Division Manager.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front desk activities to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, directing calls appropriately
- Oversee guest services, including reservations, billing, and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction
- Train, mentor, and support front desk staff to uphold service standards and operational procedures
- Monitor daily operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and billing information
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
- Assist in administrative tasks such as reporting, scheduling, and inventory management
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk operations within the hospitality industry; Hilton hotel and PEP PMS experience is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate team members
- Knowledge of guest services procedures and hospitality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability may be required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certifications are a plus
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
