General Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Reading work orders and examining RV's needing repair in to determine the nature and the extent of the damage.
- Inspecting RVs to diagnose problems and performing necessary adjustments, repairs, or overhauls.
- Identifying parts needed, technical manuals, and diagrams.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining the interior and exterior components.
- Installation of accessories on RVs
- Repairing and maintaining propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, and air conditioners.
- Repairing and working on fiberglass, body and structural components such as roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries, and charging batteries by installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining.
- Using testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturer's specifications, and internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs.
- Using computerized and electronic devices for testing components.
- Performing pre-delivery inspections.
- Updating work orders per established procedures.
- Communicating as frequently as appropriate with the Service Manager, the management team, and the customers in order to ensure timely, efficient, and economical repairs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- RV Technician Red Seal Certificate/Journeyman ticket is definite asset.
- Gas Fitter Certification is definite asset.
- Knowledge of the PBS Dealer Management System is a definite asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude, and trouble shouting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Great attitude, personable, courteous, and outgoing personality.
- Must be detail-oriented, accurate and organized.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Ability to multi-task with good time management and organization skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Confident, self-motivated, and a desire to set and achieve personal goals.
- Valid BC Driver’s License, with a clean Drivers Abstract
Compensation
- Salary: Starting at $ 38.00
All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, driver’s abstract in order to qualify for employment.
