Lead Concrete Coating Installer / Foreperson

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Lead Worker to spearhead our residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for arriving at the shop, hooking up the company truck and trailer with the day's tools and materials, and leading the crew on-site.
You must be equally confident leading a small team of 2–3 crew members or efficiently tackling a project solo.
What You’ll Do:
- Surface Prep: Perform expert concrete profiling, grinding (using floor grinders and hand grinders), concrete repair, rebuilding, and self-levelling.
- Application: Masterfully mix, pour, squeegee, and backroll epoxy and polyaspartic systems.
- System Varieties: Install polyaspartic flake systems, metallic epoxies, and silica/quartz broadcast systems to perfection.
- Logistics: Drive a company truck and trailer safely to and from various jobsites.
- Site Leadership: Manage on-site timelines, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure the highest quality control.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Proven, hands-on experience with epoxy/polyaspartic systems and concrete prep/grinding is a strict requirement.
- Communication: Must speak, read, and write fluent English to communicate effectively with our team, vendors, and clients. Deep familiarity with the local Calgary/Canadian work environment is highly preferred.
- Reliability: A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a track record of showing up on time, every time.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work long hours to get the job done right. Most work is in Calgary and surrounding areas, but you must be willing to travel out of town occasionally for specific projects.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and confident experience towing/parking trailers.
