Halow is seeking experienced and reliable heavy equipment operators for projects throughout Northwestern Ontario. We are currently seeking excavator, loader and rock truck operators. This is a unionized position with pension and benefits, however non-unionized candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily circle check of equipment
- Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies
- Refuel, clean and lubricate equipment
- Communicate with surveyors and supervisors
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Must be able to travel and work out of town, accommodations and meals are provided
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and criminal background check
- Valid Canadian driver's license
