Who are we?
Code Ninjas is the world’s fastest-growing kids’ coding center with over 500 locations worldwide, inspiring children aged 5-16 years with essential Coding and STEM skills through fun and hands-on projects in Game Development, Robotics, and STEM activities. Our center provides a dynamic and engaging environment where kids develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills—all while having a blast!
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Sensei (instructor). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and has a passion for introducing them to the world of technology and STEM-based learning through fun, hands-on activities.
Schedule:
- Tuesday-Friday: 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- Additional hours will be available for PD Days or school holiday events.
Who Would Be a Great Fit?
- Experienced in Block Coding, JavaScript, C#, Unity & Python
- Love working with kids (ages 5–16) and understand how to keep them engaged.
- Patient, positive, and a team player.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging STEM and coding activities for young learners.
- Follow a structured weekly lesson plan (training and materials provided).
- Help set up and tidy the learning space before and after sessions.
- Communicate positively with parents and fellow team members.
Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Sherwood Park.
- Professional demeanour and appearance.
- Completion of a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check is required for all successful applicants.

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour
