We are seeking a skilled, professional and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs at our residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the individual will require to have good time management skills. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our residential and commercial properties and ensuring our maintenance requests are fulfilled.
Duties
- Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance repairs within our residential and commercial properties to ensure optimal performance.
- Litter Pick up
- Identify issues on site using our digital software and report back to the office
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Utilize Bluefolder for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Tenant facing position, this individual will need good customer service skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency through effective leadership and communication.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Valid Ontario Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have your own vehicle for transportation
- Ability to complete basic mechanical fixes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership abilities to guide team efforts effectively.
- Experience using Bluefolder or similar systems is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Extremely detailed on all inspections.
