Job Summary
We are a busy Peace River family seeking a reliable, detail-oriented House Manager to help keep our home running smoothly. This is a part-time, personal household position with real autonomy, clear expectations, and the trust that comes with being welcomed into our home.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Routine tidying of living spaces, dishes, and laundry on scheduled days.
- One thorough weekly deep clean: bedding changes, bathrooms, floors, and living areas.
- Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.
Household Supplies & Inventory
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, groceries, bottled water, and toiletries.
- Keep office and bedroom drink fridges stocked weekly.
- Anticipate household needs before they run low.
Errands & Shopping
- Run errands as needed (grocery pickup, dry cleaning, packages, household items).
- Source and purchase supplies on behalf of the family.
Driving & Appointments
- Provide reliable transportation for family members to and from appointments (medical, dental, gym, personal).
- Wait or run nearby errands during appointments when needed.
Pet Care
- Daily walks, feeding, and grooming for our family dog.
- Schedule and transport to vet and groomer appointments.
- Provide reliable pet sitting during family travel. (applicable day rate applies)
Vehicle Care
- Schedule regular servicing for household vehicles at local dealerships.
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors every two weeks.
- Ensure vehicles are always presentable and ready to go.
Organization
- Keep the household organized, including decluttering and maintaining storage areas.
- Identify and address small issues before they become big ones.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle (required).
- Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable. This matters more than anything else.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Discreet and trustworthy. An NDA is standard for the role.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience as a house manager, housekeeper, or in a similar domestic role is helpful but not required.
Job Details
- Job Type: Part-Time (estimated 15-30 hours per week)
- Schedule: Flexible weekly schedule with some anchor days. Occasional evening or weekend flexibility required when family is travelling or hosting.
- Pay: Based on experience, discussed at interview.
- Location: Work performed in-person at a private residence in Peace River, with occasional local errands using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
