Olymbec is currently seeking an Interior Systems Installer (Journeyman) to join our construction team. By joining us, you will become a key member of our industrial and commercial project initiatives.
The Interior Systems Installer will be under the supervision of a Project Manager and the VP of Construction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Erect walls, partitions, and ceilings with metal studs;

Install gypsum panels;
-
Install suspended tile ceilings;
-
Prepare and install lath or metal mesh intended to receive plaster or coatings;

Apply leveling, surface layout, cutting, fastening, anchoring, and assembly processes.

Adhere to health and safety standards on site: wear personal protective equipment (PPE);
-
Carry out other related tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and installation of industrial and commercial interior systems;

Must have an ASP card and a CCQ card with code 380; journeyman level;
-
Must hold a valid Quebec driver’s license;
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
-
Strong communication skills in French;
-
Good physical condition, able to handle long hours and lift heavy materials;

Ability to work well in a team and to collaborate with the other trades on the construction site (electricity, plumbing, HVAC) for the integration of interior systems.
