Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic or apprentice to join our team in providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience preferred, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to utilize a wide range of mechanical skills and tools to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and vehicle repair guides
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Assist with the installation of new parts and components, ensuring proper assembly and fitment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and estimated timelines
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proficiency in welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge of engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required for certain repairs or parts handling
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair environments

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
