The Artful Hand is a local art consignment store located in Orchard Park, Kelowna.
We proudly represent over 80 artisans from the Okanagan and surrounding areas, supporting Canadian and local makers. In addition to our artisan creations, we offer a variety of holistic products and services throughout the week — including Tarot and Rune readings, Dream Interpretation, and more.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of Customer Service or Sales experience
- Must currently live in Kelowna or the surrounding area
- Must be a Canadian resident legally eligible to work in BC
- Bonus points if you’re familiar with crystals, tarot, and metaphysical items!
- Extra bonus points if you're also familiar with social media and content creation!

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and answer questions or concerns
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise
- Accurately process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system and assist with store closing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Have basic knowledge of crystals and metaphysical products/services to help customers find what they need (preferred but not mandatory)
Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly sales floor
- Minimum 2 years of previous retail or sales experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently
- Familiarity with cashiering and cash-handling procedures
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Experience in similar retail settings is an asset
- Experience creating social media content is an asset and preferred
- Minimum education: High school diploma
