GAO Research Inc. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Chinese-speaking intern based in Canada for a remote internship position in WordPress Web Development and Design. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in website creation, user interface design, and web performance optimization within an international business environment.

Design and develop professional websites using WordPress and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.

Customize themes and templates (including child themes) to align with brand guidelines and client preferences.

Implement responsive design practices to ensure websites are optimized for all devices and screen sizes.

Optimize website performance, load times, and SEO readiness.

Troubleshoot technical issues related to WordPress sites and provide timely solutions.

Stay current with the latest web technologies, WordPress updates, and industry trends.

Collaborate virtually with team members across global locations and maintain effective communication.

Demonstrated experience in WordPress development and design, supported by a portfolio of past work.

Proficiency in WordPress CMS and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with plugin and theme development, including child theme customization.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and SEO best practices.
- Excellent attention to visual detail and user experience.

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for communication with clients and partners in China.
