Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including evaluating physiology and anatomy knowledge to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that align with patient goals and medical requirements.
- Deliver hands-on physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and geriatrics-focused exercises to facilitate recovery.
- Manage discharge planning processes by coordinating with healthcare teams and patients to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community settings.
- Provide specialized care for pediatric populations, addressing unique developmental needs through tailored therapy approaches.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-care techniques for home & community care environments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and clinic settings.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings focused on patient care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program; licensure or registration as required by local health authorities.
- Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care programs.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
- Hands-on experience with trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans that include discharge planning and follow-up strategies.
- Home & community care experience is highly desirable for supporting patients outside clinical environments.
- Knowledge of acute care procedures and hospital protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery. Pay: $31.89-$111.73 per hour
