Jinya Ramen West Broadway is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that promote guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving, upselling, and guest services within a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required
