Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Pharmacy Workflow, Operation, Compliance Packaging, Medical terminology and experience in a Retail or Community or Hospital pharmacy setting, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to patients.
Duties
- Patient intake, Entering Prescriptions, Processing Prescription in Kroll System.
- Preparing, Package and Stocking medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Preparing Compliance packs, making changes in patient's treatment or charts as per pharmacist's direction.
- Monitoring and Managing Front store, OTC and behind counter inventory.
- Processing Sales order in Point of Sale System
- Answering Phone to understand and fulfill customers Concerns and Requests.
- Knowledge and Understanding of intervening On duty Pharmacist, whenever it is required or whenever its related to any Clinical information or question.
- Making Patient's appointment in Clinic System/Portal.
- Setting up patient in room prior appointment.
- Communicating with Clinic staff to coordinate any prescription or question under delegation of Pharmacist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.
- Document patient information accurately in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
Reporting
- You will be directly reporting to Pharmacy Manager
- You will be working under supervision/delegation of On Duty Pharmacist.
Suitable Candidate should have
- MUST: Minimum 1-5 year of Experience in patient care, preferably in a Retail or Community pharmacy environment, is highly desirable.
- MUST be adaptive to change, Technology and keen to learn,
- Experience of Compounding prescription is "Super Plus".
- Knowledge of Pharmacy terminology and SIG Terms are essential.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are REQUIRED.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients.
- Solid Understanding of "Patient Care is Most important with ensuring its within Regulated Boundaries and as per Pharmacy's polices".
- MUST own responsibilities and work assigned.

Qualification
- Diploma or Graduated from Pharmacy or Health related Field (Nice to have)
- Experience of working in Pharmacy (More important)
- Willingness to learn and Grow (Even More important)
