Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team in Canada. Based in our facility, the Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, supporting our mission to deliver innovative control systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- First off inspections: Inspect parts and authorize full production by inspecting part specifications.
- Receiving Inspections: Assess incoming material based on product specifications to ensure required standards.
- In process Inspections: Monitor and inspect parts during production process to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers to perform precise quality assessments.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality and inspection results.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
- Assist in implementing quality management systems and protocols.
- Participate in audits and compliance checks as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and tools.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments like calipers.
- Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills for data collection and record keeping.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
