Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Driver/Mover to join our team. This role involves safely transporting and handling items for residential and commercial clients, ensuring a smooth moving process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving, and moving, with excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading items, utilizing heavy lifting techniques and proper equipment
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with clients to coordinate move details and address any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of team members
- Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive throughout the moving process
Requirements
- Proven experience in moving services, or commercial driving
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Valid Air Brake endorsement preferred.
- Strong physical strength with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving, and driving
- Reliable transportation to work locations and flexibility to handle varying schedules
