Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace faulty parts and systems including engines, brakes, and electrical components
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and prevent future breakdowns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working with diesel engines
- Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools
