The Position
911 Restoration Niagara looking to add a Project Coordinator | Crew Chief to our team. This is a hands-on role for someone with restoration experience who can manage job sites, lead technicians, communicate with customers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard.
This role is a contract position in response to the significant weather event that took place in the Niagara Region.
Areas of Responsibility, Field Leadership & Production
- Lead water, and mold restoration projects through completion
- Supervise technicians and subcontractors on site
- Perform inspections, moisture mapping, monitoring, and photo documentation
- Ensure all work meets IICRC standards and company quality expectations
- Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Manage equipment, inventory, and work vehicle readiness
- Participate in on-call rotation
Project Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate crews efficiently
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, progress, and expectations
- Document daily job updates in industry-specific software (e.g., Moisture Mapper, XactAnalysis, MICA, DocuSketch, JobSight)
- Label, organize, and upload job photos and documentation for billing and insurance
- Review daily project requirements, document progress, and flag challenges to management
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and quality control
- Serve as point of contact between field staff, office, vendors, and management
- Participate in production and safety meetings
- Ensure documentation accuracy for insurance and compliance purposes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restoration or construction (water damage experience strongly preferred)
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, OCT) are an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage crews, schedules, and multiple projects
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working under time constraints and in emergency response situations
- Attention to detail with strong documentation habits
- Valid Ontario G license with clean driving record
- Proficient with basic computer systems (MS Office, mobile apps, job software)
