Staff Plus is currently hiring General Labourers for one of our clients, a food manufacturing company in Scarborough, ON. We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals who can safely perform heavy lifting and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Position: General Labour – Heavy Lifting
Location: North York
Shifts Available:
- Day: 7:30pm - 4:00pm
- Afternoon: 3:30pm - 12:30am
Schedule:
- Must be flexible to work both shifts
- Weekend availability required as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload products and ingredients safely
- Assist with production and packaging operations
- Palletizing and depalletizing products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Support various departments as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
- Previous experience as a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labour is mandatory.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing, bending, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
