Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate residential building projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, construction expertise, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring quality standards, managing project timelines, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver high-quality residential homes efficiently and within budget.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on residential sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure construction meets safety standards and design specifications
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating to optimize resource allocation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately for project execution
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship quality
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing clear direction and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in residential construction projects
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of building processes and techniques
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety protocols in a construction environment
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and oversee project timelines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
