Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Dishwasher to join our team. Ideal job for student, evening/weekend hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a focus on cleanliness, and a positive attitude to support our food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following established health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by disposing of waste and keeping workspaces organized
- Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Work efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely turnover of dishes and kitchen supplies
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking is a plus but not mandatory
- Previous hospitality or food service experience can be beneficial in understanding the demands of the role
