This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to gain hands-on exposure to media sales, client relationship management, and campaign coordination within a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment. Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you will play an important role in supporting revenue growth while developing a strong foundation in advertising and business development.
- Review and qualify inbound leads by assessing campaign goals, budgets, and advertising potential to identify strong business opportunities.
- Support senior sales representatives by ensuring qualified prospects are effectively managed and advanced through the sales pipeline.
- Conduct follow-up communication with prospective clients to maintain engagement and support the sales process.
- Manage client onboarding activities, including account setup, sharing creative specifications, and communicating production timelines.
- Coordinate campaign requirements and billing information to ensure a seamless launch process and positive client experience.
- Work closely with internal teams to support campaign execution and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare customized advertising proposals using templates, market research, and creative assets to support client presentations and sales initiatives.
- Conduct outbound outreach to local businesses to introduce advertising opportunities and generate new leads.
- Identify potential growth opportunities by building relationships with prospective clients and understanding their advertising objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems to track client interactions, proposals, and ongoing sales activity.
- Monitor outstanding opportunities and follow up on proposals to help move prospects toward closure.
- Assist with reporting and sales activity tracking to support overall team performance and pipeline visibility.
- Partner with creative, production, and sales teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and client expectations are met.
- Support senior sales representatives with campaign setup, market research, and administrative tasks while gaining exposure to advanced sales strategies.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, business development, or a related environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with CRM systems is considered an asset.
- Strong ability to manage and organize information accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients professionally over the phone and through email.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn, develop, and grow within a sales environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining a proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
