Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant or Bookkeeper to join our team in Langley. This role is vital in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
- Prepare and file government taxes and required documents
- Prepare year ends documents required by accounting firm
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks
- Support budgeting activities and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures including accounts payable/receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Accounting: 10 years (required)
