On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Leader - Senior for a 9-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Job Description:
The Project Manager/Leader will be responsible for overseeing projects related to the Government of Ontario's Bill 5: Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act, 2025. The role involves ensuring project deliverables meet business requirements within scope, schedule, and budget, while focusing on cost-effectiveness and compliance with OPS project management methodologies.
Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Responsibilities:
- Ensure project deliverables meet clients' business requirements within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and Ministry branches.
- Facilitate business process change using methodical approaches.
- Plan and lead project deliverables using Agile and Digital approaches.
- Manage client relationships and set expectations.
- Monitor and forecast project costs, ensuring targets are met.
- Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, and scope.
Project Manager/Leader - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of experience.
- Ministry/OPS experience.
- Knowledge of PMI's PMBOK.
- Understanding of Information Management principles.
- Familiarity with AODA and related regulations.
- Experience in project monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage client relationships and resolve conflicts.
Project Manager/Leader - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in leadership and change management.
- Procurement and vendor management experience.
- IT public sector experience.
- Ability to make recommendations on technology resources.
- Experience in coordinating project processes.
Project Manager/Leader - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position, lasting until March 31, 2027.
