Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety & CVOR Compliance Manager to oversee safety protocols and compliance standards within our manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates will have a background as a former MTO Officer or similar regulatory experience, with strong expertise in transportation safety, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. This role offers an opportunity to lead safety initiatives, ensure adherence to CVOR regulations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration) regulations and other transportation safety laws.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing sites.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with management to establish safety policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
- Provide guidance on regulatory updates and ensure organizational adherence to evolving safety standards.
- Facilitate training sessions focused on safety procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices for staff development.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies regarding safety inspections and compliance documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization through ongoing communication and engagement.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Prior experience as an MTO Officer or similar role with knowledge of CVOR regulations is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering training & development programs related to safety and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety laws, industry regulations, and best practices in occupational health & safety.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead training sessions, conduct audits, and liaise effectively with regulatory bodies.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement strategies related to safety performance.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
