Framer / Wall Line Worker

Atlas Building Systems & Hi-Tec Industries (AEP Company), located in Nanaimo and Lantzville, BC, provide professional design services, supply engineered wood products, and manufacture roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels for contractors, builders, and homeowners.
We are currently looking for experienced Framers and Wall Line Workers to join our growing team. This role will support wall panel production, quality control, system and process development, and on-site installations as required.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in framing and construction, with a strong understanding of quality workmanship and efficient building practices.
Wage: $55.00–$65.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Framing and assembly of prefabricated wall panels
- Reviewing finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Supporting quality control and continuous improvement of wall line processes
- Assisting with the development and implementation of efficient production systems
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Identifying and resolving quality or production issues
- Supporting on-site installation of wall panels and other components as required
- Working collaboratively with production and operations teams
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous framing or carpentry experience is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of rough framing and construction practices
- Experience reading construction drawings and plans
- Experience using power and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to identify issues and contribute to process improvements
- Ability to perform physical and repetitive tasks safely and accurately
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
