Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental practice. Prior experience with dental software and procedures is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout visit
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety protocols
- Support patients with medical terminology explanations and post-treatment instructions
Requirements
- Prior experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred
- Familiarity with endodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for scheduling needs
- HARP certification is mandatory
