Job Summary
ACE Charters Ltd. is seeking a reliable and professional Ground Coordinator to oversee transportation operations at the Port of Vancouver. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between port staff, cruise line personnel, drivers, and passengers to ensure smooth and efficient arrivals and departures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the arrival and departure of vehicles at the Port of Vancouver.
- Communicate with port operations staff, cruise terminal personnel, and ACE Charters dispatch.
- Direct drivers to designated loading and staging areas.
- Meet arriving cruise ship crew members and assist with the loading and unloading of luggage.
- Ensure passengers and luggage are matched with the correct vehicle.
- Monitor vehicle movements to minimize delays and congestion.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers regarding pickup schedules and operational changes.
- Resolve minor operational issues on-site and escalate significant concerns to management when necessary.
- Ensure all safety and security procedures established by the port are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing ACE Charters professionally.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, airport, cruise terminal, or event coordination is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move luggage as required.
- Familiarity with the Port of Vancouver operations is preferred.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on cruise schedules.

Pay: $18.25-$19.50 per hour
