FACULTY OVERVIEW:
The Faculty of Trades and Technology is currently seeking a full time regular Automotive Service Technician instructor to provide delivery of Foundation and Apprenticeship training.
This instructor will be part of a team of faculty that work independently with students in a classroom environment as well as manage projects and instruction in a fully functional Automotive shop.
There is an expectation of familiarizing yourself with established curriculum and the online training management system (Moodle), as well as classroom/exam prep and marking outside student contact hours.
POSITION OVERVIEW:

QUALIFICATIONS:
A BC Automotive Service Technician Certificate of Qualification with Interprovincial Red Seal (IP RSE), or an Automotive Service Technician Certificate of Qualification with IP RSE from another jurisdiction.
A minimum of five years’ diverse experience as an automotive repair journeyperson.
The knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with students is essential.
Previous instructional experience is an asset.

Placement on the salary scale will be dependent on level of education and relevant teaching experience. Advancement up the pay scale is based on FTE and employment status.
