About Us
1Step 2Steps Childcare is a warm, inclusive, and play-based early childhood education Center dedicated to nurturing young minds in a safe and supportive environment. We are looking for passionate Infant Toddler Educators (ECE/IT) to join our team and provide high-quality care for children under three years old.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers.
- Provide diapering, feeding, and other caregiving routines with sensitivity and care.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development in areas such as motor skills, language acquisition, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development.
- Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with families.
- Follow BC Child Care Licensing regulations ,1Step 2Steps Childcare policies, and health & safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and Infant/Toddler (IT) Certification from BC.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred.
- Strong communication,teamwork and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
