Residential Leasing Coordinator

We are a growing property management company committed to providing exceptional service to both our property owners and tenants. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and highly organized Leasing Coordinator who enjoys talking to people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
This is a people-focused administrative role. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, has an extroverted personality, and enjoys building rapport with prospective tenants. You will spend a significant portion of your day speaking with tenant prospects, scheduling property showings, coordinating calendars, conducting move-in and move-out meetings, and providing administrative support to ensure our leasing process runs smoothly. This position requires exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to both clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to prospective tenants.
- Engage with tenant prospects in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
- Qualify prospective tenants and gather preliminary information.
- Schedule property showings and coordinate calendars for leasing staff.
- Follow up with prospective tenants after showings.
- Conduct move-in and move-out meetings with tenants, including key exchanges, inspections, and completion of required documentation.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with property owners, tenants, vendors, and clients to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Respond to tenant, owner, and client inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Prepare lease packages, documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
- Assist with general administrative duties to support the property management team.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming first impression for all prospective and existing customers.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, leasing, or property management experience is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone throughout the day.
- Extroverted, personable, and able to build relationships quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable interacting with clients, property owners, and tenants in a professional setting.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Comfortable learning new software and property management systems.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
Monthly Bonus target part of compensation package.
