Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Back Of House team member to support our store operations behind the scenes. This role involves maintaining the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service when needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized store while gaining valuable retail experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and organizing back stock areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house storage and work areas
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are properly presented
- Perform cashiering duties as needed, including processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and assisting with product location
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on store equipment and facilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and efficient workflow
- Tag clothing with security tags and also price tags, hang on hangers and assist in merchandising those items
- Return Items customers have tried on when store is busy
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales, merchandising, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to perform cleaning duties and maintain a tidy work environment
- Good physical condition to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Reliable team player with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic retail setting and follow safety protocols
Pay: From $17.95 per hour
