Job Overview
In this role, you will help maintain residential and commercial properties through lawn care, garden maintenance, and seasonal property upkeep. During the summer, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients’ properties and keeping them in top condition. In the fall, you will be responsible for seasonal cleanups. Occasionally your team will support our landscape construction crews on select projects throughout the year. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, and has an interest in landscaping, horticulture, and property care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct gardening activities including planting, pruning, weeding, edging, and lawn care
- Maintain landscapes through mowing, trimming, and fertilizing
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various repair and maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues early
- Perform mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed to keep equipment operational
- Support team efforts in maintaining safety standards across all work sites
Requirements
- Proven experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their repair is a plus
- Knowledge of construction practices and general maintenance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
