Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our professional optometry and healthcare clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with patients, generating leads, booking appointments, and providing exceptional customer service while assisting with eyewear and healthcare product sales.
The ideal candidate is confident communicating with people, driven by sales targets, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare retail environment. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or optical/medical clinics is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing patients to schedule appointments
- Convert inquiries into booked appointments and eyewear sales
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses, lenses, and healthcare products based on their needs and lifestyle
- Educate patients on products, services, and current promotions
- Generate, manage, and follow up on sales leads
- Build strong relationships with patients and customers through excellent service
- Work closely with doctors and clinic staff to enhance the overall patient experience
- Meet individual and team sales goals and performance targets
- Maintain high customer service standards in all interactions
- Support clinic growth through outreach initiatives and follow-up communication
- Maintain professionalism while multitasking in a busy clinic environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Optical, retail, or medical clinic experience is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with sales goals, KPIs, and performance targets
- Outgoing, confident, and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team
- Experience with outbound calling or lead generation is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
