Role Summary:
The Inside Sales Assistant plays an essential role in supporting the Sales and Customer Service teams at Freedom Concepts Inc. This position helps ensure a positive customer experience by providing timely administrative support, coordinating sales activities, maintaining accurate customer information, and assisting with order processing.
The Inside Sales Assistant serves as one of the first points of contact for customers and partners, requiring excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to accuracy. This role works closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service Department, Production, and other internal departments to ensure quotes, orders, customer information, and requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, comfortable using technology, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and thrives in a fast-paced office setting.
General Responsibilities
· Develop a strong understanding of Freedom Concepts' products, services, and sales processes while maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information.
· Lead Follow-up: proactively follow-up on leads and inquiries to nurture customer relationships and identify potential sales opportunities.
· Client Assistance: provide guidance and information to customers on everything from new inquiries and product offerings to after-sales support and general product maintenance
· Activity Targets: meet weekly targets for cold calls and follow-up emails to maintain engagement and build strong relationships with customers
· Meeting & Presentation Support: assist the Sales team in scheduling meetings and presentations with customers, and be able to present virtual product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers
· Territory Planning: aid the Territory Managers in planning trips by identifying priority clients to visit and helping to organize logistics for efficient travel
· CRM Management: ensure accurate data entry and management within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain organized records and streamline communication
· Quoting and customer follow-up are key responsibilities of this role. You will work closely with the sales team to prepare accurate, timely quotations and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
· Market Research & Prospecting: conduct market research activities to identify potential clients, analyze market trends, and contribute to overall prospecting efforts
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 2–3 years of administrative, customer service, or inside sales support experience preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong customer service orientation.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using CRM software.
· Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Professional telephone and email etiquette.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
· Willingness to learn complex product knowledge within a specialized industry.

Physical / Environmental Requirements:
· The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
· Must be able to sit / stand for long periods of time at a desk.
· Freedom Concepts is located inside the Perimeter, but unfortunately outside of city services such as Transit. Therefore, owning your own vehicle and having reliable transportation is strongly encouraged.
Salary Range:
· To be discussed during the interview process but is dependent upon years of experience and the specific skillset the successful candidate is bringing with them.
