We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in psychology, counseling, or social work and be comfortable working with clients of all ages. The Therapist will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy services to clients, as well as facilitating supported access to Indigenous cultural activities. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to assess mental health issues, and a commitment to helping clients reach their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for clients.
Requirements:
- RSW
- Willingness to engage with Indigenous culture and ceremony
- Experience working with youth 7-17
- Current Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
- Active liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
