Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tennis Coach to join our sports and recreation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing players of all skill levels, developing training programs, and fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and enjoyment of the game. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in tennis while promoting physical activity and sportsmanship within our community. A background in teaching and swimming is considered a valuable asset for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group tennis lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- Develop customized training plans to improve players’ techniques, strategies, and overall performance.
- Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing proper techniques and rules during practice sessions and matches.
- Organize and supervise tennis drills, competitions, and recreational activities to promote engagement.
- Maintain equipment, courts, and facilities in excellent condition, ensuring a safe environment for all users.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Incorporate additional skills such as swimming instruction when applicable to enhance program offerings.
Experience
- Prior experience in teaching tennis or coaching sports is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct individuals of diverse ages and skill levels.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt coaching methods as needed.
- Passion for sports, fitness, and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.

Pay: $40.00 per hour
