The Epoxy Co. is looking for an experienced Lead Hand Epoxy Flooring Installer to join our growing team in the Greater Sudbury area. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can lead a crew, and is comfortable managing projects from surface preparation through final coating application.
Experience Preferred:
- Concrete grinding and surface preparation
- Epoxy, polyaspartic, and urethane coating systems
- Flake, quartz, and metallic flooring systems
- Operation of grinders, vacuums, and coating equipment
- Concrete repairs and crack filling
- Reading job specifications and ensuring quality control
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience installing resinous flooring systems
- Leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on active job sites
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee epoxy flooring installations
- Coordinate crew members and daily job site activities
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate project progress and site requirements with management
- Train and mentor junior installers when required
