Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Fuel Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service at the fuel station, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or customer service are highly valued to enhance the customer experience. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform cash handling duties
- Provide product demos and upsell additional items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel station area and merchandise displays
- Manage inventory levels and restock products as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions about products or services
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures
- Use technology tools to process transactions and manage sales data
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations
- Support merchandising efforts to promote special offers or new products
Requirements
- Bilingual skills (English required; additional languages are a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise
- Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in sales, merchandising, or technical product demos is advantageous
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
