Lake Country IGA is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Bakery Clerks to join our team in a busy and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, offering samples, and responding to customer requests
- Package, label, and price bakery products
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked displays, showcases, and customer-facing areas
- Ensure new products and promotional items are effectively showcased
- Assist with general bakery production and merchandising duties
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas to ensure readiness for customer service
- Comply with all regulatory food handling requirements and company standards
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bakery or grocery retail experience is an asset
- Prior cake decorating experience is considered an asset
- A current FoodSafe Certificate must be provided and maintained
