Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Maximo Systems Analyst who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Maximo IBM. Duties
- Act as the primary SME for IBM Maximo, providing expert guidance on system configuration, customization, and best practices.
- Subject matter expert for IBM Maximo across North American and European operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement enhancements aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and execute integrations between Maximo and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, Java, Python, and scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Manage and optimize database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Support cloud-based infrastructure by working with AWS, Azure, VMware, Kubernetes, and ESXi environments to ensure scalable and secure deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to operating systems (Windows/Linux), DNS configurations, VPN connectivity, and network architecture affecting Maximo operations.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell Scripting, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices to streamline workflows and improve system reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant education with experience.
- 5 - 8 years IBM Maximo Systems Analyst experience.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure for deployment and management of enterprise solutions.
- Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS setup, VPN configuration, and network security protocols.
- Expertise in database management systems: SQL Server databases.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs for system integration; familiarity with JavaScript for customization tasks.
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes; virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi.
This opportunity may have direct reports in the future. You will be the main SME for Germany, Spain and North America. Travel will be minimal.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
