MEB Collective is looking for a Commercial Business Development Manager to help grow our commercial property services divisions across Alberta.
This is a commission-based opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and taking ownership of their results.
We're not looking for a typical sales representative. We're looking for someone who wants to build a pipeline, create opportunities, and play a meaningful role in the growth of our business.
About the Role: You'll support growth across two divisions:
MESS
Commercial property maintenance and asphalt services.
- Identify properties with existing maintenance needs
- Connect with property managers and decision-makers
- Book qualified site visits
- Develop opportunities that lead to closed projects
SLEDGE
Relationship-focused business development.
- Build long-term relationships
- Stay top-of-mind with potential clients
- Create future opportunities through consistent follow-up
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline
This role combines proactive outreach, relationship-building, and pipeline management.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and connect with targeted commercial clients
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-up activities
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers and decision-makers
- Book qualified site visits for our operations team
- Manage opportunities through our CRM system
- Maintain accurate notes, follow-up schedules, and pipeline records
- Consistently nurture prospects until opportunities are ready to move forward
- Collaborate directly with leadership on growth initiatives

Assets (Not Required)
- Experience working with commercial property managers

- Experience in construction, asphalt maintenance, landscaping, facilities maintenance, or related industries

Compensation:
This is a 100% commission-based position.
- Earn 25% of gross profit on closed projects
- No earning cap

- Recommended working hours between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
- Minimum 4 days per week
- Additional effort creates additional earning opportunities
