Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Senior Executive Assistant, you will act as a trusted partner and provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Inclusive Banking & Sustainable Wealth, and the Senior Vice President (SVP), Wealth Management. This role is critical in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of senior leaders by managing complex schedules, coordinating key initiatives, preparing executive-level materials, and enabling seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven, and highly regulated environment.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Executive Vice President, Inclusive Banking & Sustainable Wealth. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Providing proactive executive support including complex inbox and calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, and logistics
- Coordinating meetings, forums, and executive engagements across internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing high-quality executive-level materials, presentations, and communications
- Managing sensitive information, documents, and records with discretion and accuracy
- Tracking action items, commitments, and governance deliverables to ensure timely follow-through
- Streamlining processes and maintaining organized systems
- Coordinating budgets, expenses, invoices, and vendor interactions
- Building strong relationships across business units and supporting stakeholders across enterprise-wide initiatives
- Supporting special projects, ad hoc requests, and evolving business priorities
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5–10 years of experience supporting C-suite or executive leaders, preferably within a complex or regulated organization
- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
- Strong experience managing complex calendars, executive coordination, and meeting logistics
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare polished executive-level materials
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $ 90,200 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
